Emese Réka Kiss

Emese Réka Kiss is an economist and project manager. Since 2008 she has working for the Civitas Foundation, an NGO focusing on building the developmental capacities of local communities. She was the economic director of the foundation between 2009 and 2019, and acted as the financial manager of a large number of externally financed projects (EU structural funds, Romanian-American Foundation, and others).
She has also managed a large number of research projects for Transylvania Inquiry, of which she is a co-founder, and for the Integratio Foundation. The two documentary films she has produced, Roma Portraits (2024) and Ditro ’88 (2025), focus on Roma-non-Roma relations.
